The Type T205B balanced tank blanketing regulator (Figure 1) is a direct-operated regulator with fully balanced plug design to reduce inlet pressure sensitivity and with a large diaphragm to accurately control tank pressure at low pressure settings on tank blanketing systems. It uses a control line to sense the pressure in an enclosed storage tank. The Type T205B maintains a slightly positive pressure and
thereby reduces the possibility of tank wall collapse during pump out operation.
